Writing Your Name in the Sand at Night
CA$1,100.00

Writing Your Name in the Sand at Night / dimensions 24×30×2” / oil on canvas / framed in natural oak

ABOUT THE WORK

Writing Your Name in the Sand at Night is about the intimacy of the evening. It is “carved” by hand, “written” in paint. It finds us at a point of loving ourselves and as an extension of that, loving those around us.

pELLA — Collection Statement

Rooted in stone, touched by light.

The pELLA collection is inspired by the ancient city of Pella, once a place of refuge in times of unrest. Just as those walls offered shelter, these paintings carry the quiet strength of stone; citadels, columns, and ruins that have weathered centuries yet continue to stand.

Ancient citadels, weathered marble, and hand-painted Mediterranean tiles, each work carries the duality of permanence and impermanence. Stone becomes a vessel for intimacy: a quarry that holds a voice, a fragment of tile that preserves the warmth of a lemon grove or the reflection of the sea. These paintings do not merely decorate a wall; they embody the dialogue between resilience and fragility, between what endures and what fades.

At its heart, pELLA is about strength—the strength to endure, to hold beauty even as time reshapes it, and to offer stillness and grounding in uncertain moments.
